About THERE IS A LIGHT THAT NEVER GOES OUT

Nir Segal and Eloise Fornieles explore the subject of intimacy through the themes of presence, absence, and the intangible connections that bind us, Segal’s and Fornieles’ individual research meet, to weave the exhibition around the narrative of light as both a physical and symbolic force. The exhibition is comprised of a set constructed out of shared memories, alongside repeated motifs from earlier works from both artists. Throughout the duration of the show,  numerous events and interactions  took place at the exhibition site and in other satellite locations; amongst them, karaoke sessions, slow dance parties, a car ride, and a weekly dance performance by Yossi Berg and Oded Graf Dance Company. This hybrid project, proposes a reflection on moments of transition, memory, and the traces we leave behind, offering a contemplative journey through spaces of quiet intensity. Together, Segal and Fornieles create an evocative dialogue, where light becomes a metaphor for the unseen energies that shape our lives and relationships.
